There was time enough this morning to pop out and get a bunch of sunflowers, a bag of warm croissants, and the big Saturday paper before Ren got in from Singapore. FYI, for the first time in my life, croissants are cheaper than char siew baos.
Hello Ren! Astella, I had a fabulous time on Fri & look forward to more laughs & chattering with the two off you some time this week. Will ring you tomorrow at some stage? Which was the nicest fudge?
cour marly: eh, there are no haters on this site! :-p yah, weekend rituals are good, especially when weekend rituals involve warm croissants. and you know what is funny is that the weekends are weekends even when one doesn't have a job during the week...

also, i think you will recall croissants are plenty cheap in sarawak, but they are doughy and taste of the freezer.
