There was time enough this morning to pop out and get a bunch of sunflowers, a bag of warm croissants, and the big Saturday paper before Ren got in from Singapore. FYI, for the first time in my life, croissants are cheaper than char siew baos.

Can I hayte-chu? Can I? Bah. I can't. I need to have someone to crash with in London ...

Ha! Scared ya!

I love a weekend ritual, and yours, while not yet a ritual, sounds like a fine consideration for one.

hmm. i thought that the early arrival of the british telecom man meant that you could leave the house to blog. but, no.

also, i think you will recall croissants are plenty cheap in sarawak, but they are doughy and taste of the freezer.

cour marly: eh, there are no haters on this site! :-p yah, weekend rituals are good, especially when weekend rituals involve warm croissants. and you know what is funny is that the weekends are weekends even when one doesn't have a job during the week...
