Unexpected Perk of Having a Roommate #17: Sneaking a spoonful of roommate’s peanut butter, which, hey, she left open, like an invitation, on the kitchen counter. (Crunchy.) (Mmm.)
hmm. does your roommate read this blog? because then that spoon of peanut butter would not be a sneaky thing as a thing that would turn around and bite you in the ass.
I don't know if roommate reads this blog. (Hey, Sarah, are you reading this? I keep forgetting to tell you the pink plate shouldn't go in the dishwasher.) But we are going out to dinner next week, and let's hope she doesn't slam down onto my plate a jar of peanut butter with a spoon stuck out of it, and say: "Here, eat the whole goddamn thing already!!"
Hey, Hannah ~ Yah! We like pink in this house also. Pink plate is a pretty Japanesey porcelain light pink plate, and once someone helping to clear up after a party helpfully loaded the dishwasher and put the pink plate in, and the next morning when I took it out there was a non-pretty non-pink crack across the middle. But it's okay ultimately—the crack is often obscured by a cake.
