I was taking out my contact lenses, a perfectly normal operation, I do it all the time, but maybe today the city was extra grimy or something, I had to peel the thing off my eyeball, and the accompanying sound effect was: schlooock.

Oh yes, a day in a windy grimy city plays havoc with the plastic in ones eyes. It is worse when you sleep with them after a windy grimy day in the city, followed by a night of drinking followed by a stumble into bed inebriated. Then its a big SchlooCK the next morning!
On another note ... very cute cut. And I can also imagine how versatile it is. Short hair rocks!

saffron: re: versatility: yeah, i just came back from a chat with the neighborhood aveda people, where the shopgirl with the shaved head was trying to tell me whether i need a gel or a paste or this new thing they have that is strips. yes, strips. i dunno. anyway i didn't know what to get, eventually, and couldn't commit to any of the twenty-something-dollar products 'cause what if they didn't work??, and then they'd just sit in my medicine cabinet and make me feel guilty. and that's no good, 'cause i already have old new yorker magazines sitting around (not in my medicine cabinet, though) making me feel guilty.... maybe i need to try the strips, if only because they are NEW!. oh, and, also, apparently, EXTREME!.
