O, I am fatigued. And, really, all I’ve been doing, when not out and about being out and about, is being in and on hourlong phone calls catching up with old friends.

Last night, I’d said to Maud, “I can’t do anything social next week.” Following which, we decided: Mogador dinner on Monday, “Blade Runner” and cheesecake on Tuesday, Chinatown on Wednesday, cannoli in the Bronx on Friday, party at Tom’s on Saturday. I don’t even think that list is completely accurate, there is so much we need to do, this is what happens when French boys are in town. On se keep in touche.

siiiiiiiiigh. the thing i hate about blogger commenting is that it leads you on this wild goose chase of button clicks and signing in before it gets you here. tchk.

well, well, hour-long phone calls that i wasn't on the other end of, when i already tried to call you twice earlier, five rings and a click, and no reply. alls i wanted to say was, "THANK YOU FOR THE VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY, um, VERY COOL COMIC BOOK!!!!!"

that is all. and now it is 4.05, thas mins an hour past when you left this post, and surely your waking window is now shut and bolted against the what, -11° cold?

you forgot to schedule something for thursday.

eh, can't you do that thing where you just make blogger remember you forever and ever? so you don't have to sign in again? something lah. but yah, even then, i do think there are still a bunch of clicks you have to go through. at least it is not a bunch of ticks!!!

YAH!!!! comic books. the girl who came to photograph my house saw the book lying about and said, because you know how it comes wrapped in the fold-out chris ware spectacularity, "oh, that's very cool, do you wrap your books in comic strips?" and then i had to not take credit for it. maybe she is right now photographing chris ware's house, where maybe everything is wrapped in comic paper, even the dog.the waking window was totally shut like minutes after i posted, turned off the computer, washed my face, slathered on night-a-mins, and lay down. the waking window is currently open (because clearly i am not typing in my head) (wait, am i?) but i wish it weren't.

in conclusion, i didn't forget to schedule something for thursday. the french people have a plan to play pool thursday, and i have not so much interest in being included. meanwhile, i already have the understanding in my head that i can't do it all, i just can't. but, oh, that makes me remember that we also want to go to katz's. aaaaaaaaa.

photograpgher girl prolly only asked if you wrapped your books in comics because she noted (and filed) that your downstairs bathroom is wrapped in newspapers.
