Oh. My. God. If you are a Windows user and this site looks like ass, it is so not my fault. After frenzied days and late nights setting up my new blog, after checking it on not one, not two, but three computers to make sure it looks peachy, what is really, really aggravating is checking the site on the airport PC just before getting on the plane and finding out that there are hideous blue frames around everything, and dead links everywhere. What the hell is the problem with computers talking to each other? Can't we all just get along??

you're not a bunny, and I'm a windows user, and everything looks fine ! don't worry.

I use Windoze at home and at work, and the site looks fine either way. Perhaps the airport computer had weird settings. Did you have the chance to check how it looks on other airport computers on your transworld flight?
What is really, really not aggravating is getting off the plane and blogging from the airport terminal in Singapore (where the site still looks stupid), and IMMEDIATELY getting comments from people. Bisous comme bisous, Gabourou. Halloooo, Yumei!!! Back on the plane in an hour...
hi astella. luv your new site. i'm on a pc here at work. in your template make sure that wherever you have an image to put border=0 in the code. that way the blue lines will go away. :)
I get blue ... but didn't realise it wasn't supposed to be there. I get dead links using IE but when I use Mozilla the links work okay. I like the little green frond but when I click on it I feel it should take me somewhere very special.

astella! i see BLUE lines. blue lines blue lines blue lines.
Hi, Annapan, Thanks fer the tip, tipster. I did the thing with the thing. But, y'know, I never had blue lines show up on my 'puter, so I can't tell if it worked. Anyone? Anyone?
still blue (sigh) ... oh, and there's still blue lines around the stellou frond and the links but not the bunny or the thank you, blogger or the come in spinner (in fact I can't even see the words for come in spinner).

Dear Mr. tvdog.
(Are you a mister? Are you a dog?)
Thank you, but (a) what is a come in spinner? Also, (2), goddamit, I give up with the blue lines. I. just. give. up. Also, (iii), I'm sorry the green frond doesn't take you anywhere special. Maybe you could try dropping acid instead? HA HA HA. :-P
more of a 'mister tv-watching-guy' really. maybe the green frond is the destination, maybe it is the somewhere special - I linked here from Raging Yoghurt. In 2-up (old Australian gambling game involving the toss of two pennies) the 'tosser' is called a spinner and calls 'come in spinner' on the throw. I could see him calling 'thank you blogger' as a new millenium electronic age call but I don't know why, unless blogger are running an internet casino.
