In a fit of du côté de chez miam, I am dicing a bunch of tomatoes off the vine to make a beautiful, thick sauce with orange peppers and bay leaves and lots of garlic and maybe, just because I can, some salmon. This will go over some grilled-vegetable ravioli. Otis Redding on tap. Dinner in twenty minutes, come as you are.

Auntie, you come lah! Don't be shy. Tonight is fry rice with long beans and onions and garlic and egg and chili bean paste. (Yah, the trick of grabbing things from the fridge to throw into the pan.) (It is a good trick.)

hey! last night i made the fly lice with the long beans and whatnot, but instead of chilli bean paste it was tomato ketchup. nyup.

today, oh happy day, we have returned from asian grocery shoping, wherein a packet of fish tofu was unearthed in the refrigerated fish product section. there will also be a long bean omelette. i like when there are long beans in the crisper.

EH! Fly rice twinkies. How come we are so can? Me too I have long snake beans in cripser, and it makes me uncomfortable when I hold them because really it is like holding snakes. EEEEEyur. Cripsy. Maybe that is why they are in the cripser.
I want fish tofu also, how can I do?
